Customers can upgrade the OS of their smartphones by visiting ph./update, or using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software. Use the BlackBerry Contact Catalog to find available support options. The new BlackBerry 7.1 OS is now available for BlackBerry Bold 9900 customers to download. They can now turn their BlackBerry smartphone into a mobile hotspot that can be shared by up to 5 Wi-Fi -enabled devices, including laptops and tablets. With BlackBerry 7.1 OS, customers can be productive from virtually anywhere. In the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows User Guide, follow the steps in the Configure your contact synchronization options and Configure your calendar synchronization options sections. They can instantly invite a friend to BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), exchange contact information, documents, URLs, photos, apps and other multimedia content, and they can also pair their BlackBerry smartphone with an NFC enabled Bluetooth device. Open BlackBerry Desktop Software and connect the BlackBerry 6 or earlier device via USB. Click Next, and the Bluetooth software will search for any detectable Bluetooth devices in the area.
